This is our family

Hello, we are Joel & Satu and we live near Saariselkä with our 33 Huskies.

All started 12 years ago, when Joel got his first two Huskies, Kasper & Tupis.  Dogsledding is our lifestyle and all we do, we do it with our dogs. Our days starts with giving a breakfast to dogs, cleaning the dog yard, checking the watercups, and cuddling with dogs. 

Our dogs live in dog pens with their friends, exept the oldest one Tupis, who is very happy to sleep inside the house on the couch. All our dogs can come inside sometimes, but usually it's too warm for them, so they like to sleep in their own houses outdoors. 

In winter, dogs are very eager to run, so we are doing huskytours with local company at Saariselkä. 

After daytours, it's time go home and rest. Some evening walk with the yongsters, puppies and Tupis, good proper food for dogs and humans and we are all ready to say good night.

Spring is our favourite time, then we go for overnight expeditions with dog teams. That is the real spirit of adventure and exploring the wilderness. On those journeys you get to relax after long winter, enjoy breathtaking views, spend quality time with dogs and just feel the freedom.
